Removal of swing axle

• Block-up the machine in front of the rear frame.
• Remove the transmission/gear box cover.

• Release the tensioning wheel spring (1).
• Disconnect the brake wire tensioning spring (2).
• Disconnect the hydrostatic wire and brake wire
(3 and 4) and remove the wire attachment plates.
• Remove the circlip and washer from the swing
axlel (5) and pull the rear frame out backwards.

• Disconnect the tensioning roller spring (1) and
prise off the drive belt.
• Remove the locking clip and disconnect the
speed control ball joint (2) (underneath), then
disconnect the wire from the bottom of the axle.
• Disconnect the cable from the sensor (5).
• Undo the brake wire (3) nuts and prise the wire
off the brake arm.
• Disconnect the wire from the differential lock, see
"Removal/installation of hydrostatic transmis-
sion".
• Remove the circlip and washer from the swing
arm (4) and pull out the rear frame.

Remove the circlip and washer from the swing
axle's inner holder (1) and pull the swing axle out
backwards.
If the dust protection (2) is damaged, this should be
replaced by a new one.
