Method 2
1 = Shaft
2 = Locking nut
If the drive shafts do not rotate backwards
despite rotating the hexagon shaft one full
turn, neutral position must be adjusted as
follows:
Turn the shaft slowly counterclockwise
until the drive shafts start to rotate
forwards.
Turn the shaft slowly clockwise until the
drive shafts stop rotating forwards and
make a mark on the transmission
housing (FS) and the shaft.
Turn the shaft clockwise 8° from the mark
on the transmission housing.
Hold the shaft (N=8) and tighten the
locking nut (N=17).
Transmission Maintenance
Oil Change
Most garden owners do not own tools for or
the experience to change transmission oil.
The transmission has probably a longer
service life than the ride-on mower has
otherwise, which means an oil change is not
as important for the normal consumer. The
service life of the transmission will however
increase if the oil is changed.
When the ride-on mower is used
professionally, we recommend changing oil
for the first time after 50 hours of use and then
at 200 hour intervals or at least once a year.

used oil and filters are an environmental
hazard and must not be disposed of on the
ground or in the environment; they should
always be disposed of at an appropriate
disposal site.
Avoid skin contact, wash with soap and
water in case of spills.
Observe cleanliness. Follow the directions
given in the hydraulic system chapter.
