Using the Network View Management Tool

Network View is a management application that runs on the SAN Appliance. If installed
in your network, Network View provides easy access to SAN Director 64 management
applications, including EWS and SDCM. Additional Network View features include:
Track performance of SAN devices and connections
Distribution analysis on SAN devices
Management of devices in zones
Network map of SAN devices and connections
Alert and notification functions for all devices on a SAN
NOTE: This section lists Network View procedures relative to the SAN Director 64 switch only.

Accessing the Network View Management Tool

Use these steps to access Network View from the SAN Appliance already running in your
network.
1. Access your browser. Type the SAN Appliance IP address and port number.
2. Type your username and password at the Login.
NOTE: The default username is administrator. The default password is administrator.
The Open SAN Manager window displays.
3. Click OK.
4. Click the Applications folder.
5. Click the Network Utilities folder.
6. Click the Network View icon. See
