This chapter contains information on how to use the Embedded Web Server to define SAN
Director 64 system settings. Settings include:
Ports
Network addresses
Identification and contact information
Date and time
Operating parameters
SNMP settings
Passwords and user privileges.
Launch EWS
Use the following steps to launch EWS.
NOTE: Internet access and a standard Web browser is required. Compaq recommends
Netscape Navigator 4.6 or higher, or Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0 or higher.
1. Verify that the computer and Ethernet LAN segment (with the SAN Director 64
attached) connect through the Internet.
2. Launch the browser application.
