1. Check the drum. It must be either scratched or have a line of toner stuck on it.
2. Replace the drum if it is scratched.
NOTE: Drum scratches often occur when the slide unit is reset without the drum
stay in position.
3. Clean the drum if it has toner lines on it.
4.
Check the cleaning blade release mechanism.
ACTION
The Mylar strip on the corona unit strikes the drum.
(Use clean soft cloth and alcohol.)
