1) Wavy Lines
Is the cleaning blade

blade?
Check whether the edge of the blade cleaner is straight
and the movement of the blade cleaner is smooth.
If not, correct or replace any defective parts.
o Readjust the blade pressure according to the FSM
procedure.
Replace the cleaning blade.

band(s)
Do the pick-off pawls swing properly?

Correct or replace the pick-off pawls, and replace the
drum.
Is the gap between the drum and pick-off pawls incorrect
(1 to 2mm)?

If the oscillator mechanism of the pick-off pawls does not
work properly, correct or replace any defective parts, and
replace the drum.
Readjust the gap, and replace the drum.
