1. Check the drum for scratches.
2. If the drum is scratched, determine and correct the cause before installing a
new drum.
Possible causes:
• Warped cleaning entrance mylar seal.
• Something caught in the development unit seals.
• T/S corona guide loose or deformed.
3. Check the interior of the fusing unit for damage.
