6E-3. Transport Roller Replacement
1.
Take out the slide unit (See 6E-1).
2.
Take the fusing unit off the slide unit (See 6F-
1).
3. Remove the toner collection bottle holder (1 E-
ring).
4. Remove the transport guide plate (2 screws).
Remove the gear and bushings from the front

ends of the first and second roller shafts (2 E-
rings).
6.
Release the tightener from the hook link chain;
then, slide the roller shafts slightly to the rear
to free the bushings and lift off the two shafts.
7. Remove the sprockets, clutch, etc. from the
ends of the shafts and install them on the
shafts of the new rollers.
8. Reassemble.
