Open the front cover to prevent the scanner
from moving and turn on the main switch.

Select the DC 20V range of the digital
multimeter, and connect the multimeters leads
— the COM line to logic ground and the input
line to CN202-9 on the optics PCB.
5. Loosen the sensor fixing screw.

Slide the sensor as far as possible toward the
right.
7.
SlowIy slide the sensor back until the
multimeter reading changes from +5V to 0V.
Tighten the sensor screw at this posttion.
8 .
Make copies and check the horizontal compo-
nent of magnification and focus.
