Oil marks at stripper
A small amount of oil marking, especially on the first copy, cannot be helped. But
do the following if excessive.
1.
Clean or replace the hot roller strippers. (See page 6-53.)
2.
Check that the contact edges (ends) of the pressure roller strippers are smooth
and clean. Also, make sure that the pressure strippers are all aligned and con-
tact the pressure roller lightly.
3 . Replace the hot and pressure rollers if they have been damaged. (See pages
6-52 and 6-53.)
4. Check the oil blade position.

5. Make sure the oil blade is not warped or wavy. Adjust the blade position or
replace the blade.
6. Check the 3 screws that secure the oil blade. They must be short (M4 x 6).
7. Make sure that the oil supply pad lightly touches the upper edge of the oil
blade.
ACTION
The edge of the blade should touch the surface
