7. Grasp the slide unit handle, rotate it coun-
terclockwise, and push it to the left.
8. Remove the wedge from the lower registration
roller bushing while pushing down the lower
registration roller as shown.
9. Remove the left cover (3 screws).
10. Remove the scanner lock plate
(2 screws [FT3020]/1 screw [FT3050/
FT3060]).
N O T E : Do not throw away the scanner lock
plate. It is necessary to reinstall it if the
copier is transported to a new location.
11. Reinstall the left cover.
