6B-8. Image Density Sensor Adjustment

CAUTION: Before adjusting the ID sensor after
new drum installation,
machine about 5 times in Free Run
mode to clean the setting powder from
the drum.
NOTE: It is better to use a plastic screw driver to
avoid possible drum damage.
* Adjustment Standard : +4 ± 0.2V
1. Remove the rear cover (2 screws).
2. Connect a multimeter to TPPSN (hot line) and
TPGND (ground line) on the main PCB.
Turn on DIP SW101 #6.

Open the front cover and turn on the main
switch.
5. Adjust the VR on the front end of the ID sen-
sor PCB.
