6B-2. Doctor Gap Adjustment
* Adjustment Standard: 1.25 ± 0.1 mm
1. Take out the development unit and empty the
developer.
2. Take off the upper cover (2 screws).
Before making the adjustment, confirm that

both surfaces where the thickness gauge will
be inserted are clean.

Insert a 1.25 mm (0.049") thickness gauge

into the DG at the shown positions, and press
the DG plate down until the doctor blade light-
ly contacts the thickness guage.

7. Check that the DG is correct and even.
(0.049" ± 0.004")
