Wavy black lines or
stripes.
Copy problems caused by the cleaning blade are often wavy.
1. Clean the cleaning unit; after that dust the cleaning brush and cleaning blade
with setting powder.
2. If the problem does not clear up, replace the cleaning blade (and brush).
NOTE: If the cleaning blade edge is damaged, try to determine and correct the
cause.
Possible causes are:
• Carrier on the drum.
• Small projections on
• Improper cleaning of
• Installing a new blade and/or drum without first dusting them with setting
powder.
