CAUTION: * Be careful not to bend the bias ter-
minal.
* Be careful not to damage the upper
cover seal.
* After removing used developer, clean
the drive gears.
1.
Set the development unit on a large sheet of
paper with the unit's inlet facing downward.
2. Turn the paddle roller knob counterclockwise.
The developer will fall out onto the paper.
3. Hold the unit at an angle and dump out the
developer that has collected at the ends of the
development unit.
4.
Repeat the above steps until you have
removed all of the developer.
5. Turn the unit rightside up and pour in one bot-
tle (1 kg) of RICOH TYPE 4000 developer.
