1. Clean the optics and toner shield glass.
2. Check and adjust the exposure lamp position.
3. Check for paper wrapped around the drum.
4. Open the platen cover and press the Print Key. Observe the intensity of the
exposure lamp.
(Protect your eyes.
exposure light is too weak, the lamp is too old or the lamp regulator output is
incorrect.
• Faulty lamp —> replace (See page 6-3.)
• Faulty LR — > a d j u s t o r r e p l a c e
5. Check that the drum drive belt is not off the pulley.
