6B-7. Toner Supply Solenoid Adjustment
1. Remove the main PCB (2 screws, 4 connec-
tors). [FT3020]
Remove the optics PCB (1 screw, 4 connec-
tors). [FT3050/FT3060]
2. Take off the paper feed drive belt tightener (1
screw).
3. Adjust the solenoid stroke to 2 ± 0.5 mm
(0.08" ± 0.02") (2 screws) .
4. Check that there is at least 1 mm clearance
between the clutch pawl and the clutch sleeve
when the solenoid is on.
