6D-2. Paper Size Detector Replacement
1. Push the slide unit to the left.
2.
Take off the rear cover (2 screws).
3. Remove the main PCB (2 screws, 4 connec-
tors). [FT3020]
Remove the optics PCB (1 screw, 4 connec-
tors). [FT3050/FT3060]
4. Remove the rear spindle of the registration
guide assembly (2 screws).
Take out the registration guide assembly.

6. Remove the front inner cover (4 screws).
7. Uncouple the connector and free it from the
front side plate.
8 . Remove the paper size detector PCB (2
screws).
NOTE: The PCB can be viewed through the left
side (slide unit) opening.
