6C-2. Pick-off Pawl Replacement
CAUTION: Be careful not to damage the edge of
new pawls.
1.
Remove the pick-off plate (2 screws).
2. Remove the snap rings from the ends of the
pick-off pawl shaft.
3 . Rotate the pawls 180° and slip them off the
ends of the shaft as shown.
4.
Install new pawls.
NOTE: Make sure that the weighted end of each
pawI rests on the pawl lifter.
