4. Mix the powder and alcohol until they form a thin paste.
5. Gently clean the drum stroking it smoothly from one end to the other, turning
the drum slightly at the end of each stroke.
CAUTION: (1) Do not rub the drum back and forth nor in a circular motion.
(2) Be careful not to scratch the drum with fingernails or jewelry.
6. Repeat step 5 until the entire surface of the drum has been covered at least 10
times. Change the cotton pad, repeating steps 3 and 4 whenever the pad
gets dirty.
7. Let the drum dry.

8. Wipe the drum down using a cotton pad soaked with alcohol. Continue until
the cotton no longer picks up any cleaning powder from the drum.
9. Let the drum dry and then dust it with setting powder.
