16. Insert the development unit, the cleaning unit,
and the erase lamp unit.
NOTE: When the development unit and the clean-
ing unit are well set, their front surfaces are
flush with the drum flange.
Turn the knobs of the development and
cleaning units counterclockwise to engage
gears.
17.
Set the drum stay and the charge corona unit
with wire cleaner.
18.
Close the exit assembly and reset the slide
unit.
C A U T I O N : *To prevent the drum from being
damaged, do not set the slide unit
without first setting the drum stay.
*To set the slide unit firmly, push the
slide unit handle to the right.
19. Close the front cover.
