6G-6. Home Position Adjustment [FT3050/
FT3060]
NOTE: * After adjusting the horizontal magnifica-
tion do this adjustment.
* Turn the main switch off before doing
home position adjustment.
1. Remove the platencover and the platen cover
mounting studs.
2. Remove the top cover (8 screws).
3. Remove the left cover (3 screws).
4. Secure the home position sensor bracket tem-
porarily 108 ± 0.5 mm (4.25" ± 0.02")
from the inside edge of the left optical frame
(See illustration).
5. Turn on the main switch and wait for warm up.
6. After warm up, check the distance between
the second scanner and the outside of the left
optical frame.
The distance should be 35.5 ± 1 mm (1.40"
± 0.04").
7. By turning on/off the main switch, check the
distance several times.
Readjust the position of the home position
sensor bracket as necessary.
