When setting the test parameters in the PD1000A test screens, do
not exceed device limits specified in the device's data sheet.
If you are not using the InTEST Thermal Platform to provide heat in
the B1506A Test Chamber, make certain the Temperature Control
Mode is set to Manual and set the temperature to 25 ° C in the
temperature field.
Gate Resistance. Specify the desired Gate Resistance for the device,
either 0 (default), 10, 100, 1000 . The Gate Resistor value must
be set in two places, here for the specific test and also in the
B1506A EasyEXPERT. See "Oscillations in the IV Plot," starting on
page 59. You must use the same values in both places.
