Field bus address (Connecting point)

A valve terminal is identified on the FIPIO bus by
its field bus address. The field bus address
number represents the physical address of the
device on the FIPIO bus. The following field bus
addresses are permissable:
Addresses 1 to 62 for the field bus slaves/val-
ve terminals
Address 0 is reserved for the master/SPS
(TSX Model 40).
Address 63 is reserved for the programming
terminal.
The field bus slaves connected to the FIPIO bus
must always have different field bus addresses.
If the two LEDs ERR and NET on the terminal
node blink simultaneously, this indicates that the
terminal cannot switch to the FIPIO bus, since
the field bus address is already in use by
another bus slave.
