4. Commissioning
Selecting the controller and the processor
Before configuring a valve terminal, you must
first select and enter a processor with integrated
FIPIO interface. To do this, proceed as follows:
•
From the "Configure" menu select "Configure
- Rack I/O".
•
Select a processor with integrated FIPIO
interface and enter this.
Only after this has been done are the field bus
configuration windows generally accessible.

Entering the valve terminal

Now configure the valve terminal as follows:
•
Select "Config. remote I/O" from the
"Configure" menu.
•
In the screen "Configuration of remote
devices" select the corresponding connection
point for the valve terminal (see following
figure).
PLEASE NOTE
• Enter the valve terminals in fields 1 to 62.
• Make sure that the number of the
connection point selected corresponds with
the field bus address of the valve terminal.
