3. Installation
WARNING
Before installation or maintenance work is car-
ried out, the following must be switched off:
•
the compressed air supply
•
power supply to the electronic components
(pin 1)
•
power supply to the outputs/valves (pin 2)
You thereby avoid:
•
uncontrolled movements of loose tubing
•
undesired movements of the connected
actuators
•
undefined switching states of the electronic
components
Basic information on the installation of a field bus
subscriber on the FIPIO field bus will be found in
your controller manual.
