5.2 Structure of the PROFINET IO Process Data

Depending on the data type, the data bytes (D0 ... Dn) of the byte or word
orientated I/O module are transferred via PROFINET IO in Motorola or Intel
format according to the parameter settings of the device and individual signal
channels.

For the significance of input and output bits or bytes of the individual I/O
modules please refer to the corresponding description of the I/O modules.
