GBEIX: IntType
Where X designates the interface as GBEI1 (J5 | DATA port) or GBEI2 (J6 | DATA port): Use the
arrow keys to select IntType, FlowControl, or Learning, and then press ENTER.

Take care in using this menu, as a mismatch can cause random packet loss and
connection drops.
Interface Type:

To configure the interface type of the selected port: On the bottom line, use the
to select AUTO, 1000 Base‐T Full Duplex, 100 Base‐T Full Duplex, 100 Base‐T Half Duplex, 10
Base‐T Full Duplex, or 10 Base‐T Half Duplex. Press ENTER when done.

The use of Flow Control or Pause Frames is useful when ALL devices connected to the modems
are set to honor Pause frames. When used properly, Flow Control can act as a traffic valve in an
ACM environment.
