5.2.9.1.1 (FAST) FAST Options: Set

To enable new FAST options in the modem, you must first obtain the FAST Access Code for the
new option from Comtech EF Data Customer Support. Once obtained, the FAST Access Code
must be entered carefully. First, use the arrow keys to select a digit to edit, and then use
the
arrow keys to change that digit. Press ENTER once you fully enter the correct FAST
Access Code.
Once you correctly enter the FAST Access Code, the modem accepts the code and displays the
message "Configured correctly."
If you incorrectly enter the FAST Access Code, the modem rejects the code, resets to its default
configuration, and displays the message "Failed to configure. Re-enter code."
Re‐enter the code as instructed. Should the code entry error persist after repeating the
procedure, contact Comtech EF Data Customer Support for further assistance.

Use the
arrow keys to view the FAST options currently available and installed for that
register. The top line shows the active register, the FAST option number, and its installed status.
The bottom line identifies the FAST option.

FAST: Demo-Mode
FAST Options Demo Mode: Off (Off,On)

FAST Options Demo Mode allows access to ALL CDM‐750 FAST options for 30 calendar days. On
the top line, use the
The bottom line displays the Time remaining – the time format is DD:HH:MM:SS (days, hours,
minutes and seconds. Note the following:
•
The time count decrements only when Demo Mode is turned On. Demo Mode may be
turned on and off an unlimited number of times until the full 30 calendar days have
expired.
•
Once the timer decrements to 00:00:00:00, FAST Options Demo Mode may no longer be
enabled. Your modem will still function with the purchased FAST enabled features.
