User defined executable: Allows you to specify an executable and parameters to be used as an endpoint.
For example, the following executable reads the phone module temperature every second.
while true; do rdb_get wwan.0.radio.temperature; sleep 1; done
The temperature can then be sent to another endpoint.
RS232 / RS485 / RS422 port: These endpoint types all use the built-in serial port.
When one of these endpoints is used to create a stream, the hardware switches to accommodate the chosen
serial communication interface.
