Certificate Authentication
In the Certificate upload section at the bottom of the screen, click the Choose a file button and locate the
certificate file you downloaded when you configured the OpenVPN server. When it has been selected, click the
Upload button to send it to the router.
Username / Password Authentication

Enter the username and password to authenticate with the OpenVPN server.

Use the Choose a file button to locate the CA certificate file you saved from the OpenVPN Server and then
press the Upload button to send it to the router.

Click the Save button to complete the OpenVPN Client configuration.

If you have an additional SSL/TLS key created on the server, click on the Use HMAC Signature toggle key so
that it is in the ON position. Select the Choose a file button then locate the key file on your computer. Click
the Upload button to upload it to the router.

Click the Save button to save your settings.
Certificate and Username / Password Authentication
This is a combination of both the Certificate and Username / Password authentication methods providing
additional levels of security since the client must know the username / password combination and be in possession
of the certificate.
Configuring an OpenVPN P2P Connection
To configure an OpenVPN peer-to-peer connection:

Set the OpenVPN profile toggle key to switch it to the ON position.

In the Profile name field, type a name for the OpenVPN P2P profile you are creating.
