Steering
D Check to ensure that steering wheel is free from in-
stability, or abnormally heavy feeling.
D Check that the vehicle does not wander or pull to
one side.
Engine
D Check that engine responds readily at all speeds.
D Check that engine is free from abnormal noise and
abnormal vibration.
Body, Wheels and Power Transmitting System
Check that body, wheels and power transmitting sys-
tem are free from abnormal noise and abnormal
vibration or any other abnormal condition.
RECOMMENDED FLUIDS AND LUBRICANTS
Engine oil
Engine coolant
(Ethylene glycol base coolant)
Brake fluid
Manual transmission oil
Differential oil
Clutch linkage pivot points
Door hinges
Hood latch assembly
Key lock cylinder
Meters and Gauge
Check that speedometer, odometer, fuel meter, tem-
perature gauge, etc. are operating accurately.
Lights
Check that all lights operate properly.
Windshield Defroster
Periodically check that air comes out from defroster
outlet when operating heater or air conditioning.
Set fan switch lever to "HI" position for this check.
SE, SF, SG, SH or SJ
(Refer to engine oil viscosity chart in ITEM 1-4 of MAINTENANCE SERVICE)
Antifreeze/Anticorrosion coolant
(Refer to ITEM 1-5 of MAINTENANCE SERVICE for detail.)
An equivalent of DOT 3 or SAE J1703 or more
API GL-4
(Refer to MAINTENANCE SERVICE in SECTION 7A1 for detail)
Hypoid gear oil API GL-5
(Refer to OIL CHANGE in SECTION 7E and SECTION 7F for detail.)
Water resistance chassis grease
(SUZUKI SUPER GREASE A 99000-25010)
