I. ERROR DISPLAY

1. Main Body

"Status" and "error messages" appear
on the display panel of the main body. The
table below lists error messages.

Code
C001 The upper unit is open.
C009 The imprinter cover is open.
D002 A double feed was detected by the document length.
D004 A double feed was detected ultrasonically.
H001 An ink cartridge is not installed in the post-imprinter.
H008 An ink cartridge is not installed or fixed in the pre-imprinter.
J001 A stapled document has been detected.
J018 A skewed document was detected.
J050 Dust detected on the reading glass could not be avoided.
P001 A document has jammed before entering the registration
front sensor.
P002 A document has jammed before exiting from the regis-
tration front sensor.
P004 A document has jammed at the eject sensor.
P006 A document has jammed before entering the registration
rear sensor.
P007 A document has jammed before exiting from the regis-
tration rear sensor.
P050 Feeding stopped due to other document jams.
U001 The specified number of sheets was exceeded before the
scan ended.
U002 The scan ended with a number of sheets less than the
setting.
E021 Pickup tray operation error. The user moves the pickup
tray position manually.
(None) This message may appear depending on applications
being used. Since no message corresponding to this
error is provided by the main body, its description is dis-
played on the computer.
