SECTION 12: UPGRADING THE OPERATIONAL FIRMWARE
Transferring New Firmware from
Your Computer to Your Laser
Use the following procedure to transfer the hex file to the
laser:
Create a simple drawing in your graphics package. For this
example, we've typed in the text Firmware Upgrade.
The next step is to Print, select the Laser Dashboard, and
click on Properties.
Go to the Advanced tab, check the Update Firmware box
and then click on the Load key.
Go to the folder that contains the extracted file, select the
.hex file and click on Open:
The .hex will show in the Update Firmware File box. Click
OK.
