Note:
In general, the copy protection can only be changed when know-how protection is deactivated.
KHP: Know-How Protection

Know-how protection: Copy protection cannot be activated
Message class:
Error in the parameterization / configuration / commissioning procedure (18)
Reaction:
NONE
Acknowledge:
IMMEDIATELY
Cause:
An error occurred when attempting to activate the copy protection for the memory card.
Fault value (r0949, interpret decimal):
0: A memory card is not inserted.
1: An invalid memory card is inserted (not SIEMENS).
Note:
KHP: Know-How Protection
Remedy:
- insert a valid memory card.
- Try to activate copy protection again (p7765).

Know-how protection: Consistency error of the protected data
Message class:
Error in the parameterization / configuration / commissioning procedure (18)
Reaction:
OFF1
Acknowledge:
IMMEDIATELY
Cause:
An error was identified when checking the consistency of the protected files. As a consequence, the project on the
memory card cannot be run.
Fault value (r0949, interpret hexadecimal):
yyyyxxxx hex: yyyy = object number, xxxx = fault cause
xxxx = 1:
A file has a checksum error.
xxxx = 2:
The files are not consistent with one another.
xxxx = 3:
The project files, which were loaded into the file system via load (download from the memory card), are inconsistent.
Note:
KHP: Know-How Protection
Remedy:
- Replace the project on the memory card or replace project files for download from the memory card.
- Restore the factory setting and download again.

Power unit: Overcurrent
Message class:
Power electronics faulted (5)
Reaction:
OFF2
Acknowledge:
IMMEDIATELY
Cause:
The power unit has detected an overcurrent condition.
- closed-loop control is incorrectly parameterized.
- motor has a short-circuit or fault to ground (frame).
- U/f operation: Up ramp set too low.
- U/f operation: rated current of motor much greater than that of power unit.
- High discharge and post-charging current for line supply voltage interruptions.
- High post-charging currents for overload when motoring and DC link voltage dip.
- short-circuit currents at switch-on due to the missing line reactor.
- power cables are not correctly connected.
- power cables exceed the maximum permissible length.
- power unit defective.
- line phase interrupted.
