ATTACHING ACCESSORIES

Attaching the antenna
Insert the antenna into the base of the SMA antenna
connector and tighten the antenna
TIP: Third-party high gain antennas may increase

NOTE:
• Even when the transceiver is turned OFF, a small
current still flows in the transceiver. When not
using the transceiver for a long time, remove the
battery pack or case to prevent the batteries from
becoming exhausted
• The battery protection function automatically
reduces power to Low 1 power (0.5 W) when the
temperature is around 0°C (32°F) or below In
addition, High, Mid and Low 2 power selections
are disabled
