link-delay

Use link-delay to set the physical state change suppression time on an interface.
Use undo link-delay to restore the default.
Syntax
link-delay delay-time
undo link-delay
Default
Physical state change suppression is disabled.

Usage guidelines
If you set the physical state change suppression time, an interface can become up or down only after the
time is reached.
Examples
# Set the physical state change suppression time on the CE 1 interface to 8 seconds.

[Sysname-E1 2/0/0] link-delay 8

shutdown

Use shutdown to shut down an interface.
Use undo shutdown to bring up an interface.
Syntax
shutdown
undo shutdown

A WAN interface is up.
