link-delay

Use link-delay to set the physical state change suppression interval on an Ethernet interface. In case of
an up or down event, the interface comes up or goes down after the physical state change suppression
interval.
Use undo link-delay to restore the default.

Physical state change suppression is disabled on an Ethernet interface.

Parameters
delay-time: Sets the physical state change suppression interval on the Ethernet interface, in the range of
0 to 10 seconds. The default is 0 seconds.
Usage guidelines
This command does not apply to ports administratively shut down (with the shutdown command).
Do not use this command on Ethernet interfaces with RRPP, MSTP, or Smart Link enabled.
Examples
# Enable physical state change suppression on GigabitEthernet 4/0/1, setting the suppression interval
to 8 seconds.
<Sysname> system-view
[Sysname] interface gigabitethernet 4/0/1
[Sysname-GigabitEthernet4/0/1] link-delay 8

loopback

Use loopback to enable loopback testing on an Ethernet interface.
Use undo loopback to disable loopback testing on an Ethernet interface.
Syntax
loopback { external | internal }
undo loopback
Default
Loopback testing is disabled on Ethernet interfaces.
