Operation principle

Start matrix
The Start Matrix function requires that a protection function delivers the directional
output signals in a fixed order to Start Matrix.
A directional input signal STDIRX of the Start Matrix is of type word. Each input
contains 14 individual Boolean signals, which are positioned as, see Figure 247.

b0= START (start)
b1= FW (forward)
b2= REV (reverse)
