ACK NAK Timeout Value
This option specifies the amount of time the scanner waits for an ACK character
from the host following label transmission. The selectable timeout range is 200
milliseconds to 15,000ms (15 seconds) in 200ms increments. A selection of 0
disables the timeout.
To set this value:
1. Determine the desired setting in milliseconds.
2. Divide the desired setting by 200 (setting is in 200ms increments). Pad the
result with leading zeroes to yield two digits. For example: 0 = 00, 5 = 05,
20 = 20, etc.
3. Go to
enter Programming Mode.
4. Scan the bar code: SELECT ACK NAK TIMEOUT VALUE SETTING.
5. Scan the appropriate two digits from the keypad in
represent the duration which was determined in the steps above. You will
hear a two-beep indication after the last character.
NOTE
6. Scan the ENTER/EXIT PROGRAMMING MODE bar code to exit Programming
Mode.
This completes the procedure. See the table below for examples of how to set
this feature.
