    2. Scope Of License Granted. 2.1 Datalogic grants to End User a personal non-exclusive, non-transferable, per- petual license to use the Software, solely on the Datalogic Product in which it is embedded ("designated Datalogic Product"), in machine-readable form only, solely for End User's internal business purposes. This Agreement does not convey ownership of the Software to End User.

If you let the Host generate the passkey, simply enter the required code by scanning the corresponding bar codes for alphanumeric entry (see Hex-Numeric Keypad on page 48).

    Scan Modes Pick Mode Pick Mode is a Decoding and Transmission process where bar codes that are not within the configurable distance from the center of the aiming pattern are not acknowl- edged or transmitted to the Host. It is active only while the scanner is in Trigger Single mode.

    Scan Modes Power Saving The operating time of the reader is related to the amount of current drain from battery. There are some configura- tion items that can reduce the power consumption and extend battery life. For example, parameter as Audio Vol- ume, RGB illumination for Good Read and Body, Motor Viber settings, Green Spot feature, can impact on the reader power consumption.

An optional “Green Spot” also performs useful functions. The following tables list these indications.
