Symptom
No peaks at all.
CO or CO peaks not present in the

Diagnosis
Column broken or disconnected.
Defective electrometer or
amplifier.
FID flame is out.
Poor or missing electrical
connections.
Methanizer temperature not
correct.
Catalyst exhausted.
Remedy
Check the column and
connections.
Replace the electrometer or the
amplifier.
Light the flame.
Check the cables connections.
Set the correct temperature.
Replace the metal tube containing
the catalysts.
