System x iDataPlex dx360 M2: Problem Determination and Service Guide
1. Read the safety information that begins on page vii and "Installation guidelines"
on page 123.
2. If the 3U chassis is installed in an iDataPlex rack, remove it (see "Removing a
3U chassis from a Type 7825 iDataPlex rack" on page 190).
3. Remove the top cover (see "Removing the 3U chassis top cover" on page
136).
4. Note the signal cable routing and connection locations; then, disconnect the
signal cables from the assembly.
Attention: When you move the storage-riser-card assembly, do not allow it
to touch any components or structures inside the 3U chassis.
5. Lift up on the storage-riser-card assembly.
6. Turn the storage-riser-card assembly to access the ServeRAID SAS controller.
7. Pull the controller from the connector on the storage-riser-card assembly.
8. Disconnect the battery cable from the battery cable interposer card.
