CAUTION: AVOID bacterial contamination to the Sensor package by washing your hands
thoroughly with soap and water and drying them completely before opening the Sensor
package. DO NOT use any Sensor if its sterile package has been previously damaged or
opened. The Sensor is sterile in its unopened, undamaged package. A previously damaged
or opened Sensor may lead to inaccurate glucose readings and may cause infections or other
problems around the insertion site.
• Wash your hands thoroughly and dry them completely.
• Carefully remove the Sensor from its packaging. Look closely at the Sensor to make sure it is not
damaged.
• The Applicator is a single use, disposable unit. The Safety Lock prevents you from accidentally
releasing the Needle before you are ready.
