Countershaft and Driveshaft
• Install the bearing pins (1) and C-rings (2) into the
upper crankcase.

• Install the countershaft assembly (3) and driveshaft
assembly (4) into the upper crankcase.
• Install the countershaft end cap in the proper position
"A".
NOTE
• Be sure to install the bearing dowel pins
(5) in their respective positions.
• Make sure that the countershaft assembly
turns freely while holding the driveshaft
assembly. If it does not turn freely, turn the
gearshift cam to the neutral position.
