Installation
1.
If removed, install pad spring and brake pads.
2.
Tighten pin hanger set to 11-15 ft-lbs (15-19.6 Nm).
3.
Fit pads to rotor and slide the caliper over the rotor up to
the mount.
4.
Apply LOCTITE 271 (red) to fasteners and install caliper.
5.
Tighten caliper mounting fasteners to 35-37 ft-lbs (47-50
Nm).
Avoid leakage. Be sure gaskets, banjo bolt(s), brake line
and master cylinder bore are clean and undamaged before
assembly. (00322a)
6.
Install the brake fluid line to the caliper. See
BRAKE: EIGHT PISTON CALIPER, Front Brake Fluid
Line.
7.
Bleed the fluid line. See

Brakes.
After repairing the brake system, test brakes at low speed.
If brakes are not operating properly, testing at high speeds
can cause loss of control, which could result in death or
serious injury. (00289a)

Test the brake light.
