Lifting handles

Step 4. Grasp the two lifting handles, and slide the system board assembly toward the rear of the chassis
until it clicks into place. Make sure that the rear connectors on the new system board assembly are
inserted into the corresponding holes in the rear panel.

After you finish
1. Reinstall the following components.
a. Reinstall the power distribution board. See
b. Reinstall the power supply units. See
c. If applicable, reinstall the OCP module. See
d. Reinstall the intrusion switch. See
e. If applicable, reinstall the PCIe riser. See
f. Reinstall each memory module to the same slot on the new system board assembly as on the
defective system board assembly until all the memory modules are installed. See

g. Reinstall the processors and the heat sinks. See

2. Reconnect all the required cables to the same connectors on the system board assembly as the
defective system board assembly.
3. Reinstall the fan cage and the fans. See
4. Ensure that all components have been reassembled correctly and that no tools or loose screws are left
inside the server.
