Procedure
Step 1. Make preparation for this task.
a. Remove the top cover. See
b. Remove the PCIe riser where the PCIe adapter has been installed. See
on page 110.
Step 2. Remove the PCIe adapter.
a. Open the retention latch on the PCIe riser.
b. Unfasten the screw that secures the PCIe adapter to the PCIe riser.
c. Grasp the PCIe adapter by its edges and carefully pull it out of the PCIe slot.
