Step 3.
Disconnect all the cables from the system board assembly. As you disconnect the cables, make a
list of each cable and record the connectors the cables are connected to, and use the record as a
cabling checklist after installing the new system board assembly.
Step 4.
Disengage the system board assembly.
a.
Pull up the rear lifting handle to release the system board assembly.
b.
Grasp both lifting handles and slide the system board assembly toward the front of the
chassis.
Note: The two lifting handles only serve the purpose of removing system board assembly. Do
not attempt to lift the whole server with them.

Step 5.
Remove the system board assembly.
a.
Tilt the system board assembly so that its rear end is up.
b.
Hold both lifting handles, and lift the system board assembly out of the chassis.
