9-4. If a tire is flat
NOTICE
Place the repair kit in a storage to pre-

vent it from being exposed to dirt or
water.
●
Store the kit in its assigned place out of
reach of children.
●
Do not disassemble or modify the kit.
Do not subject parts such as the air
pressure indicator to impacts. This may
cause a malfunction.
To avoid damage to the tire pressure

warning valves and transmitters
When a tire is repaired with liquid seal-
ants, the tire pressure warning valve and
transmitter may not operate properly. If a
liquid sealant is used, contact your Lexus
dealer as soon as possible. After use of
liquid sealant, make sure to replace the
tire pressure warning valve and transmit-
ter when repairing or replacing the tire.

Take out the emergency tire punc-
ture repair kit.
The sticker enclosed with the bottle will be
attached at a specified location. (See step
10.)

Pull out the hose and power plug
from the compressor.

Connect the bottle to the compres-
sor.
Insert the bottle straight into the compres-
sor to connect it, and make sure that the
claws are securely engaged to the com-
pressor as shown in the illustration.

Connect the hose to the bottle.
Make sure that the hose is securely con-
nected to the bottle, as shown in the illus-
tration.
